Maine Trip: Part 2

Wednesday, July 6, 2016

We decided to visit the easternmost point of the US while in Maine. It was my favorite place that we visited while on the trip. When we arrived, we saw a porcupine (which I had never seen before) and I was so excited, so we followed it. The way that it waddled was the cutest darn thing ever.

The beach at the eastern most point was very different than any beach I've ever seen. There was no sand, just cliffs and rocks, and even an itty bitty waterfall. Needless to say I collected rocks, seashells, and sea-glass for my adventure jar.

We were able to climb out onto some of the rocks and cliffs that jetted out into the ocean. This was what made the easternmost point my favorite. You could look straight down the rock into the water and watch all the seaweed and sea-life. Even with all of the fog it was one of my favorite views

Photos 5 and 6 were taken at Acadia National Park. It is hard to tell from the photos, but because of the storm clouds the water kept changing to the most beautiful colors. We were able to really far out on the rocks and watch the GIANT waves.

The last three photos were at a local restaurant where we had dinner. I had lobster, muscles, corn, and (of course) lots of butter. The food was delicious and afterwards we walked out onto the dock to admire all of the boats.

I hope you all enjoyed!
